" I am graduate!" ..I so proudly screeched accross the unfamiliar hall. After the ceremony, out came my friend Junalyn giving me a hug. I was a graduate of Mass Communications ---for the second time. Onward to the next scene, I was at a huge round table in some fancy hotel-like restaurant with Junalyn. Then came another lady joining us at the table. She smiled at me and proceeded to greet me--- until I realized it's Manang Karen, visibly having lost some weight gorgeously in cropped hair. Then came Atty Simon from law school days, and some other few familiar people all joining us at the round table. Looking at them all, I realized ... I am in the midst of now lawyer acquaintances.
It's a nice scene, a good experience ----only that it all happened in a dream, in the wee hours of this cold, rainy July Wednesday morning. And Manang Karen has passed away earlier this June. The real part is that Junalyn is a friend, and the rest at the table whom I knew are all now lawyers.

And I just have to have this dream few nights after having a KaKao chat with my dear friend Lea.
What do these dreams tell me?
All I know is that I have come to the reckoning that ---- I still want to pursue that lawyer dream. Only that it has to be on my own means and terms.
Not trying to be proud or boastful. Just trying to be honest with myself and with what I want with my life.
